In 2018, 91% of children received a place at their first choice with 98% got their first, second, or third choice place. If you don’t receive an offer for your first choice, remember that:

• As of December 2018, 85% of primary schools have a “good” or “outstanding” rating.
• You have the right to appeal; details of how to do this should be included in your offer letter / email (remember to check when the deadline is as the cut-off dates will vary from council to council).
