To celebrate the release of Disney’s latest princess film (Raya and the Last Dragon), we decided to see which of Disney’s princess names is the fairest of them all – that is according to our customers. Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, Which Disney Princess Names Do Our Customers Think Are The Fairest Of All?

Today marks the release of Raya and the Last Dragon and the addition of its lead character (Raya) to the current lineup of Disney Princesses.

Officially, there are thirteen Disney Princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana, and now Raya) – and, yes, there are rules to determine who makes the line-up:

• One: The character must be (or become) human.
• Two: The character must have a primary role in an animated Disney/Pixar film.
• Three: The character must not be introduced in a sequel.
• Four: The character must be royal (by birth or marriage) or must have performed an act of heroism.

So, we've decided to find out how popular these names are amongst our customers. However, since our customers can request any names they like, we’ve used official and unofficial Disney Princesses for our poll, including:

Of the 44 names in our poll, our customers have requested name labels for 27 of them. Out of the 13 official princesses, 8 made the cut with our customers. JASMINE came in third, followed by BELLE (joint fifth), AURORA (seventh), TIANA (joint twelfth), ARIEL (fourteenth), RAYA (joint sixteenth), MERIDA (joint eighteenth), and SNOW (joint nineteeth). Our most popular names were ALICE and ANNA, with ALANA rounding out our top five.
