Are Stikins ® Labels Suitable For Kids?
Stikins ® name labels were designed to be as simple as possible – for kids and adults. They fit neatly (but discretely) onto items (avoiding potential embarrassment for older kids), while the clear contrast between white labels and a black font makes the print really clear and easy to read for kids of all ages. Can I Use Kids Labels To Label Clothes?

Can I Use Kids Labels To Label Shoes?
Yes! Kids shoes often share similar designs, increasing the chances that they’ll get mixed up or misplaced – especially in busy classrooms, cloakrooms, and changing rooms where children might not pay attention to which shoes they have put down and which shoes they have picked up. Using your Stikins ® name labels as shoe labels helps to avoid the horrible frustration of having to buy (expensive) replacements, regardless of whether one or both shoes have gone missing.
Are Stick On Kids Labels Better Than Sew-In Name Tapes And Iron-On Name Tags?
We think so (as do our customers)! Generation after generation of parents have run the back-to-school-gauntlet of spending hours sewing in name tape after name tape (or finding someone else to do it for them). Iron-on name tags were supposed to provide a more efficient option but still take time and care to apply (not to mention a very hot iron) – often with mixed results.

When Did You Start Selling Stikins ® Name Labels As Kids Labels?
“Original” Stikins ® Name Labels launched way back in 2004. Our managing director has four children and was frustrated with the label products available for their school kit at the time. He decided to use his experience in the labelling industry to come up with an alternative and thus the idea for Stikins ® labels was born. Since then, we’ve continued to research and test new materials and manufacturing methods to develop new and improved versions, so that we can continue to offer our customers a labelling solution that really does just stick on and stay on.
What Size Are Stikins ® Labels?
Our name labels measure 30mm wide by 15mm size, which is a perfect size for kids labels. This size is small enough to fit neatly and discretely onto items of all shapes and sizes (including wash-care labels) while still providing plenty of room for your personalisation.
What Colour Are Stikins ® Labels?
One of the reasons our name labels make such good kids labels is their clear colour contrast. In order to make the print as easy to read as possible, we have chosen the strongest possible colour contrast between our labels (which are white) and the personalisation (which is black).
What Size Font Do You Use?
The font size depends on how many characters you request. Our system counts up your characters and selects the largest font size that will allow your personalisation to fit onto your labels. You can use the print preview on our website to get an idea of how big (or small) the font will be on your labels.
How Much Do Stikins ® Labels Cost?
You can choose from five pack sizes; buy 30 for £9, 60 for £12, 90 for £15, 120 for £18, or 240 for £32.40.
Each pack comes in a plastic bag, which can be used to safely store any leftover name labels for future use. It is also pre-printed with our instructions for use so they'll be on hand for any last minute labelling emergencies!
How Quickly Will My Kids Labels Be Delivered?
We offer super quick despatch and delivery all year round; we produce labels every day (Monday to Friday, up to 3pm) to ensure that every order despatches same or next working day.
Standard delivery is free and uses Royal Mail’s first class service. Currently around 75% of first class post arrives next day so we advise that orders may take up to seven working days to arrive.

I’ve been using Stikins since my first child...
I’ve been using Stikins since my first child was in Year R, he’s now in Year 5! I did try other companies but the labels came off in the wash or just didn’t stick properly in the first place. These labels are easy to apply and stay on despite countless washes (sometimes on a hot wash for white shirts). I also use them on my kids school bags, water bottles, shoes etc. They’re great!

My daughters are at secondary school now and...
My daughters are at secondary school now and I have used Stikins for the majority of their primary years and will continue through secondary. No reason to shop around as the labels are super easy to put on and last incredibly well, even using tumble drier regularly. They don’t fade and extremely rarely come off. Service is fast and hassle free and I’m able to fundraise for their school when buying my labels.
