We are once again offering our school fundraisers the opportunity to request free personalised samples for all of their new starters BUT TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

What Is The Stikins ® Labels School Fundraising Scheme?

Our school fundraising scheme allows schools and PTAs (as well as children’s groups / clubs) to raise money by earning commission on sales of our name labels. This also helps to promote the use of name labels. You should find that this reduces the amount of time and resources you spend dealing with lost property.

We assign each of our school fundraisers a unique school fundraising number. Every order we receive where that number is quoted will earn commission for the school. We recommend adding a link to our website on the school or PTA website. This helps to boost the number of parents ordering name labels by making it even easier for them to order. The link can also be set up to autofill your fundraising number. This means every order placed via the link will count towards your commission total (even if parents forget the number).

We keep track of the commission earned and send out a commission cheque once a year in November. There’s no sign up fee or ongoing costs required to participate. We provide free fundraising materials and resources to help schools and PTAs to promote the scheme – and boost their fundraising totals. These resources include our annual offer of free personalised samples for new intake.

What Is Your School Fundraising Offer?

You can request five personalised Stikins ® name labels for each of your new intake starting in September. Each child will receive five personalised name labels individually packed with Instructions For Use and a parent leaflet.

We find that these samples greatly boost the amount of parents who order name labels. Parents can see for themselves how easy it is to use stick on name labels to label almost anything and everything.

How Do I Request Free Samples For My School?

It’s really easy! You can fill in our online School Fundraising Requests Form or give our Customer Service Team a call. We’re available Monday to Friday, from 9am-5pm – or you can drop us an email at any time.

Once you’ve let us know that you want samples, you need to email the names you need printing. Request full names or partial names if the school is reluctant to release full names (e.g. initial + last name/first name + initial). Send the names in an Excel spreadsheet with first names in the first column and surnames in the second column.

In light of the introduction of GDPR we have introduced a new Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website here. We have also produced a GDPR Statement, which relates specifically to our free sample offer. If you would like to receive a copy of this statement, please get in touch.

We offer personalised samples because non-personalised samples have failed to provide noticeable benefits to parents and our school fundraisers. We use your list for the sole purpose of printing the samples. It is never used for any other purpose nor is it released to any third parties. All copies of the list are deleted from our system as soon as your samples have been printed.

Why Can’t I Request Samples After June?

We run our offer in May and June for practical reasons. Intake lists are being formalised and schools are in contact with the parents of new starters. Sending out samples when parents are really engaged with the school and aware of the imminent need to purchase (and label) school uniform and equipment produces a much higher success rate than any other time of the year.

This level of engagement drops in July. Schools start to close for the summer holidays, which means that no one is available to co-ordinate sending out samples. Families are busy preparing for their summer holidays and they won’t have the time (or the inclination) to think about school name labels. We also have less time to produce samples as we make our own preparations for the summer season.
