It’s December, So It’s Time To Deliver This Year’s Last Posting Dates!

There are only 20 sleeps to Christmas, which means it’s high time we post the last posting dates for 2022. If you need to order more name labels before Christmas, here are the dates you’ll need to keep in mind!

Order Early To Avoid December Delays

As ever, the post will start to slow down as we creep ever closer to Christmas. Delivery takes longer as the volume of items is much higher at this time of year. Unfortunately, there will be more delays this year due to further Royal Mail strikes, scheduled to take place throughout December. Strikes will be taking place on Friday 9th, Sunday 11th, Wednesday 14th, and Thursday 15th December. Additional strikes have been proposed for Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th December.

If you know you want to order name labels in time for Christmas, you might be thinking you’ve still got plenty of time. Our best advice is to take a little chaos out of Christmas and get your name labels ordered as soon as you can!

We will be printing name labels every weekday until 3pm. We will post orders placed by 3pm (Mon-Fri) on the same day. If you order after 3pm or over the weekend, we will despatch your order on the next working day.

All orders despatch by Royal Mail’s first class service as standard (and for free). However, as this isn’t a guaranteed service, your name labels may take a few days to arrive.

Note: we are able to offer guaranteed next day delivery by phone. Royal Mail charge us £8.40 for this service.

Last Posting Dates For Christmas 2022

This year, Royal Mail’s last posting date for Christmas delivery is FRIDAY 16th DECEMBER.
(If you upgrade to special delivery, the last posting date is Wednesday 21st December.)

However, this is only a guide based on current advice from Royal Mail. They do not guarantee that first class items will arrive before Christmas and are recommending posting items as early as possible.

We recommend ordering as early as you can and advise upgrading to special delivery if your order is especially urgent. You can order online at any time or by phone during office hours (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday).
