Production News: December Delivery Guide For Christmas Orders
With advent calendars on the go, the official countdown to Christmas is underway. At this time of year, it can take longer for orders to arrive. Here are the last posting dates you need to meet if you need your name labels before Christmas.
Christmas Orders Of Stikins ® Name Labels
DESPATCH
As always, we will be printing and posting name labels every week day (Mon-Fri) up to 3pm. We will despatch orders received by 3pm on the same day. Orders placed after 3pm or over the weeked will be despatched on the next working day.
Our last day in the office this year is Tuesday 22nd December. We will print and post all orders received by 3pm before Christmas.
DELIVERY
Our standard delivery service uses Royal Mail’s First Class service and is completely free.
Generally speaking, around 93% of first class mail arrives next day. However, next day delivery is not guaranteed and items may take five working days to arrive. This year, due to coronavirus restrictions and reduced staffing levels, there has been an increase in delays with first class items. This delay is likely to get worse as we get closer to Christmas.
Last Posting Date For Christmas Name Labels
Royal Mail’s recommended last posting date for Christmas 2020 is Monday 21st December.
As we are closing on Tuesday, you will need to order no later than 3pm on Monday HOWEVER, we would strongly recommend ordering sooner as Royal Mail's recommended posting dates are guidelines only and do not guarantee delivery before Christmas.
