name labels get in touch

If you’ve never ordered Stikins or used stick on name labels before, you might have a few questions. In this FAQs post, we’ve pulled together information to answer all of our most frequently asked questions. This includes information about our name labels, print, packs, order process, prices, despatch and delivery, and instructions for use.

FAQs – About Stikins Name Labels

We use an ultra-thin synthetic material and unique adhesive to make Stikins. Our name labels are extremely soft and gentle against skin. They’re also flexible enough to bond with flat or curved surfaces – including flexible surfaces like the wash-care labels in clothing. Stikins measure 30mm wide by 15mm high and fit neatly and discretely onto items of all shapes and sizes. They are white in colour to allow your personalisation to stand out.

Our adhesive holds your name labels in place, even through washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves. Stikins are multipurpose name labels suitable for labelling pretty much everything and anything!

FAQs – About The Print On Stikins Name Labels

We use a font called CG Triumverate, which we print in black with a bold emphasis. Our system selects the largest font size that will allow your personalisation to fit on your name labels. You can request up to 35 characters per line but we recommend 15-20 max.

We can print standard alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, and 0-9), punctuation marks, and selected accented characters (À Á Â Ä Ã Å Æ à á â ä â å æ È É Ê Ë è é ê ë Í Î Ï ì í î ï Ô Ö Õ ò ó ô ö õ Ù Ú Û Ü ù ú û ü Ç ç Ñ ñ Ý Ÿ ý ÿ Ø ø Ð ð ß ƒ).

We cannot print images (such as emoji) or characters from different alphabets. Use the space bar on your keyboard to enter a blank space and our system will leave that line blank.

Most customers request a first name (on line 1) and a surname (on line 2). You can include full names, first name or surname only, nicknames, or initials and surnames. You may wish to enter a name on line one and use line two for another piece of information. Common examples include contact information (e.g. mobile number), medical or allergy information (e.g. nut allergy), school information (e.g. class name), or a personal message (e.g. “This Belongs To”). We recommend no more than two pieces of information (e.g. a name and phone number). You should also avoid addresses and emails, which take up a lot of room.

The personalisation is centred on each name label and you can request one or two lines. We recommend two lines unless you are requesting fewer than 15 characters in total.

FAQs – About Packs Of Stikins Name Labels

Stikins come in four pack sizes: 30 name labels, 60 name labels, 90 name labels, or 120 name labels. Each pack has its own bag, pre-printed with our Instructions For Use. All of the name labels within a pack are printed with the same text. You can be creative with your personalisation to create name labels that you can share:

  1. Request a surname only (or “Surname Family” / “Family Surname”) and share.
  2. Enter an initial and surname if your family members share an initial.
  3. Request a blank line and a surname so you can write in the name you need using a suitable laundry pen.
  4. Enter two names and cut them up to create individual name labels (e.g. enter “Name/Initial 1 Surname Name/Initial 2” on one line or enter “Name 1” on line 1 and “Name 2” on line 2).
  5. Request two names and share (e.g. “Name 1 & Name 2” on line 1 and “Surname” on line 2).

FAQs – About Ordering Stikins Name Labels

Order online, by phone (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm), or by post (using our order form). We accept payment via credit/debit card (online/phone), PayPal account (online), and cheque/postal order (post). Groups and organisations (e.g. schools, nurseries, nursing homes and residential care facilities, activity groups etc) can request a proforma invoice and pay by BACS transfer.

Stikins are a personalised product so you must check your details carefully before you checkout. You can also double check your details on the order confirmation page and in your confirmation email. Contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible if you find any errors.

Schools and PTAs signed up to our school fundraising scheme have a unique fundraising number. Quote a school fundraising number as you order to add to the school’s commission total. If you forget to enter your school’s fundraising code or don’t know what code to use, get in touch with our Customer Service Team and we’ll add it to your order.

School fundraising numbers track the commission earned by our fundraising partners – they are not discount codes.

FAQs – About The Price Of Stikins Name Labels

Our prices include VAT and standard UK delivery. We offer a 10% discount to all customers who order four or more packs of name labels and provide discounts to residential care homes and nursing facilities who order on behalf of their residents. Visit our Nursing Home Name Labels page or contact our Customer Service Team to find out more.

Our larger pack sizes (N120 or N90) are the most cost-effective options with the lowest price per name label. Any name labels that you don’t use right away can be stored for future use or kept on hand for emergency “on-the-way-out-of-the-door” applications.

FAQs – About Despatch & Delivery Of Stikins Name Labels

We make and despatch name labels every day – Monday to Friday, up to 3pm. Orders placed after 3pm, over the weekend, or during holidays go out on the next working day.

Standard delivery uses Royal Mail’s first class service. Around 93% arrives the next day with the rest usually take just a day or two extra (especially in the London area). Items may take up to five working days to arrive.

We also offer a special delivery service; Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed Service guarantees that your name labels arrive by 1pm on the next working day.

We only ship to UK addresses BUT our sister company (Madebuy) sells Stikins name labels via Amazon and eBay and offer shipping to a number of worldwide destinations.

Orders will easily fit through any standard letter box. Those with a value of more than £32 are put on the Royal Mail’s Signed For First Class Service for additional security. Like our Special Delivery options, this service requires a signature. If no one is available to sign for your order, it will be taken to your local Post Office Collection Point (and a “While You Were Out” card should be left for your attention). If you aren’t sure if you will be available to sign for your name labels, you can request delivery to an alternative address.

FAQs – About Using Stikins Name Labels

Each pack of name labels includes full instructions for use. Stikins must be applied onto the wash-care label of clothing and fabric items. The only fabric items that they cannot be used to label are those without wash-care labels – like socks. When applying Stikins into shoes, you should stick them onto the side wall or beneath the tongue of each shoe. For all other personal items, simply stick your name labels directly onto the surface of each item.

There’s no sewing and no ironing required. In fact, it’s best to avoid ironing directly over your name labels as the heat will cause the synthetic materials to melt and shrivel up.

You can put labelled items through washing machines, tumble-dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves. Stikins were independently tested using the BS EN ISO6330 wash test procedure for 40 washes at 40 degrees and underwent six months of additional in-house testing in both washing machines and tumble dryers.

Stikins can be stored your name labels so that you can use them as and when you need them. We recommend that you keep your name labels in their original packaging and that you put them somewhere dry, out of direct sunlight, and preferably at a steady room temperature.

American Names Name Tags

And The Nominees For Most Popular US-Inspired Names Printed Onto Stikins ® Name Tags Are…

We’ve printed lots of name tags for people who share their names with American states and decided to find out which states are the most popular. So, we’ve searched through and records and the most popular US state names – among Stikins ® customers anyhow – are:

Georgia ~ Indiana ~ Dakota ~ Virginia ~ Alabama ~ Alaska

A lot of American towns and cities were named after places in the UK by British settlers and explorers – including Bath, Birmingham, Blackburn, Bolton, Bradford, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Carlisle, Chester, Coventry, Crewe, Dartmouth, Derby, Dundee, Durham, Exeter, Gloucester, Hastings, Hull, Ipswich, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Macclesfield, Maidstone, Manchester, Newcastle, Northampton, Norwich, Portsmouth, Preston, Scarborough, Sheffield, Shrewsbury, Southampton, Stafford, Warwick, Weymouth, and Winchester.

Recently, of course, there has been a trend of people choosing names based on American states and cities so, if you’re looking for a name with an American feel, there’s plenty of options to be found across the good old U.S. of A., including:

Space Stikins Name TagsStikins Name Tags Presents Facts About…Halley’s Comet

Today is the anniversary of the most recent appearance of Halley’s Comet so we’re celebrating with a few fascinating facts from the Stikins name tags team:

  • Halley’s Comet was the first comet to be recognised as a short-period comet (a comet that takes less than 200 years to complete one orbit around the sun).
  • It’s the only short-period comet regularly visible to the naked eye and the only naked-eye comet that might appear twice in a human lifetime.
  • Currently, its orbit takes 75.32 years to complete – meaning its next appearance is predicted to be on 28th July 2061 – and extends from a mere 55,773,484 miles away from the sun (between the orbits of Mercury and Venus) to a massive 3,253,453,254 miles from the sun (beyond the orbit of Neptune).
  • The central nucleus of Halley’s Comet is shaped like a peanut, measures around 9 miles long by 5 miles wide, and is composed of ice, rock, and dust.
  • Sightings of Halley’s Comet appear throughout recorded history (including an appearance on the Bayeux Tapestry) – the earliest is contained in a Chinese document (“Records Of The Grand Historian”) from 240BC.
  • In 1705, Edmond (or Edmund) Halley published a study of 24 separate comet observations in which he calculated that three of these observations (from 1531, 1607, and 1682) were actually the same comet – which he predicted would return in 1758. It did – although it wasn’t actually spotted until 25th December – and was named in his honour the following year.

DID YOU KNOW: although Halley’s Comet can only be seen once every 76 years, you can see the after-effects of its journey every year in two meteor showers that occur in early May (the Eta Aquariids) and late October (the Orionids). The sun changes some of the comet’s ice into a gas, allowing rock particles to break away and become meteors as they reach the Earth’s atmosphere. While the Orionids are the result of rocks left behind after Halley’s most recent appearance, meteors in the Eta Aquariids broke away centuries ago.

Christmas FAQs - Name Tags

The Stikins ® guide to ordering name tags this Christmas

There are only FIVE days left before we shut down for our Christmas Break, which means you have FIVE days left to place a last minute order for our sticky name tags! If you need to order Stikins ® (and you want them to arrive before Christmas), we’ve put together this set of FAQs as a guide to placing a last minute order before Christmas…

  • When are you open this week?

We are open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

  • Can I order name tags for delivery BEFORE Christmas?

Yes! We’ll be printing our stick on name tags every day this week. If you absolutely, positively need your name tags to arrive before Christmas, you should definitely order as soon as possible and put them on our special delivery service.

  • What’s the difference between standard delivery and special delivery?

Standard delivery is via Royal Mail’s first class service and is included in the prices you see on our website; special delivery is via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed service and costs £5.75.

Royal Mail do NOT guarantee that first class items will be delivered next day and it is likely that these items may be delayed at this time of year; this means that the ONLY way to GUARANTEE that your stick on name tags will arrive BEFORE Christmas is to put them on the special delivery service, which guarantees that your order will be delivered before 1pm on the next (working) day.

If you order on Friday 22nd December, you will need to upgrade to Royal Mail’s Saturday Special Delivery Guaranteed Service; Royal Mail charge £8.75 for this service.

  • How do I upgrade to your special delivery service?

Currently, special delivery is ONLY available to request by phone; simply call our Customer Service Team on 01270 668076 to place your order – we are available 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

  • What if I want to order school name tags for delivery to a non-UK address?

Unfortunately, the last delivery dates for despatch to non-UK addresses (including the Republic of Ireland) have passed and we will not be able to despatch any orders to these addresses for delivery before Christmas. If you have relatives in the UK who are visiting you over the Christmas holidays, you may wish to have your name tags delivered to them so that they can deliver them to you when they visit.

  • So, when are your last despatch dates?

3pm on WEDNESDAY: last despatch for orders being sent via standard delivery (Royal Mail’s first class service)

3pm on THURSDAY: last despatch for orders being sent via special delivery (Royal Mail’s special delivery guaranteed service)

3pm on FRIDAY: last despatch for orders being sent via (extra) special delivery (Royal Mail’s Saturday special delivery guaranteed service)

  • Will you stop accepting orders before Christmas?

NO but if you don’t upgrade to a special delivery service OR you order after our last despatch dates, your name tags may NOT arrive before Christmas.

Orders despatched via Royal Mail’s first class service that don’t arrive before Christmas will usually be delivered in the days after Christmas when service in your area resumes.

  • How do I get in touch with you?

You can send an email to info@labelplanet.co.uk or give us a call on 01270 668076.

  • What happens if I place an order after you close for Christmas?

Nothing – until the office re-opens at 9am on Tuesday 2nd January 2018 and we start printing our sticky name tags again!

Please note: we are more than happy for customers to email us with questions and queries over the Christmas Holidays BUT we will NOT be able to answer any enquiries until the office reopens in January when we will do our best to answer as quickly as we possibly can.

Christmas with Stikins Name Labels

Names for Father Christmas & the last posting dates for our name labels!

Yes, there are only TEN DAYS left until Christmas Day and hopefully you’re managing to keep on top of the chaos that is Christmas! To help you into the spirit, we’ve decided to look into the world of festive names…

While taking a look at Christmas inspired names, we were struck by how many different names are used to refer to those Christmas (and Winter) visitors who bring gifts to children each year. Here in the UK, we’re all extremely familiar with the jolly man himself, “Father Christmas”, but did you know that there are many other Christmas and winter gift-bringers who are celebrated around the world? Here’s just some of the festive figures that we encountered…

Christmas Names - Stikins Name Labels

While the majority of these figures follow “Old Man” traditions, there are some female gift-givers to be found, including:

  • Saint Lucia/Saint Lucy: most commonly celebrated in Scandinavia and Italy, Saint Lucy is associated with light and “festivals of light” which are held in her honour on the 13th December. In Italy, she brings gifts to good children and coal to bad children – children leave out food to entice the donkey and make sure that Saint Lucy visits their house.
  • The Snow Girl/The Snow Maiden: Snegurochka is celebrated in Russia, where she is usually depicted as the granddaughter and helper of Ded Moroz (“Old Man Frost” or “Grandfather Frost”) – who delivers presents to children on New Year’s Eve.
  • Frau Holle/Old Mother Frost: also known as Holda, Huld, or Hulda, she is variously depicted as a Goddess of Winter, of the Sky, and of the Weather. In some traditions, she flies through the skies on 24th December (also known as “Mother’s Night”) to bring gifts to children. The Grimm Brothers used her in one of their fairy tales; snow falls to earth whenever she shakes out the blanket on her bed and she rewards a good child with gold and punishes a bad child with hot pitch.
  • Perchta: also known as Percht, Berchta, and Bertha, Perchta is a variation of the Frau Holle figure (or vice versa) and traditionally roams the countryside between Christmas and Epiphany, rewarding good children and punishing bad children.
  • Befana the Christmas Witch: celebrated throughout Italy, Befana is an old woman who delivers gifts on Epiphany Eve (the night of 5th January); good children wake up to a stocking full of gifts and sweets, while naughty children find a lump of coal – traditionally, children find nice gifts AND a lump of coal (rock sugar darkened with caramel colouring) as a reminder that they haven’t always been on their best behaviour…

Last posting dates for ordering Stikins ® name labels before Christmas…

So, now that we’ve shared some festive fun with you it’s onto our second gift – our last posting dates for ordering Stikins ® name labels! We’ll be printing our labels for clothing & personal items all next week (Monday – Friday); any orders we receive before 3pm will be despatched on the same day, while those received after 3pm will be sent next day.

Orders are despatched via Royal Mail’s first class service as standard BUT we highly recommend upgrading to our special delivery service (Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed service; shipping cost £5.75) to make absolutely sure that your name labels arrive before Christmas. This is because Royal Mail do NOT guarantee that first class items will arrive next day AND because first class mail does tend to see delays in the run up to Christmas.

How to upgrade your name labels order to a special delivery service…

Currently, our special delivery service is only available to request by phone; this allows us to make absolutely sure that your stick on name labels will be made and despatched on the SAME DAY so you definitely get them on the NEXT DAY. Our Customer Service Team is available Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm – simply give us a call on 01270 668076 and we’ll be happy to help.

Please note:

1. Today is the LAST DAY to order Christmas name labels for delivery to the Republic of Ireland.
2. If you find yourself leaving things to the very last minute, the LAST DAY for any orders of school labels, equipment name tags, and general purpose name stickers will be Friday 22nd December (up to 3PM).

To receive your order on Saturday, you will need to order by phone and request our Saturday delivery option (shipping cost: £8.75).

Once normal opening hours resume, you can order at ANYTIME by filling in our handy online order form or you can give us a call (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) to order your personalised name labels by phone.

Merry Christmas from Stikins Name Labels

It is finally December, which means that the Christmas Countdown is officially ON! It also means that if you’ve been thinking about ordering some Christmas name labels to get yourself organised over the holidays, then NOW is the time to buy!

Prepare for the New Year with Stikins ® Name Labels

Christmas is a great time of year to take stock of how much stuff has made it to school and back again safely (and how much hasn’t) and to see what may need labelling in the new year. Maybe you need school uniform labels for someone who’s grown a bit (or a lot) over the last few months, or perhaps you need name labels for equipment that’s needed for a new class or project starting in January, or perhaps you just need a few extra stick on name labels to help keep a few Christmas presents safe when they inevitably get taken into school for an (un)official show and tell.

If you’ve got a child (or any other family members) with a bit of a reputation for losing things, a pack of Stikins ® name labels might just be the perfect little extra something for their stocking this year.

It’s also a great time to order school name labels on behalf of family and friends – especially those living abroad who will be visiting (or visited) over the holidays.

If you want to order a pack (or two or three or four – or more!) of sticky name labels for delivery BEFORE Christmas – don’t worry! – there’s still plenty of time to make sure that your stick on labels arrive before the big day.

Swift & Speedy Despatch of Seasonal School Name Labels

We print, pack, and post our name labels every day, Monday to Friday, up to 3pm – which means that ALL orders received before 3pm are sent out SAME day, while orders received after 3pm (or over the weekend) are sent out on the NEXT working day.

We send all of our orders via Royal Mail’s first class service as standard (free of charge) and you can also upgrade to a next day delivery service (shipping: £5.75) or a Saturday delivery service (shipping: £8.75) to make sure that your name stickers arrive safe and sound as soon as possible.

To upgrade to our special delivery options, please give us a call on 01270 668076; this allows us to ensure that your order will DEFINITELY be despatched same day for next day delivery.

DELIVERY DEADLINES TO AVOID OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD

If you do want to order name labels for clothes and other items – and you need them to arrive BEFORE Christmas – then we strongly recommend upgrading to our next day delivery service.

We also recommend ordering as soon as possible to avoid disappointment – especially if you are relying on our standard delivery service; Royal Mail do NOT guarantee that first class items will be delivered next day and this service can experience delays as we get closer to Christmas.

If you do find that ordering name labels has slipped your mind, these are the very last posting dates for orders of Stikins ® name labels:

Delivery to Europe: last posting dates vary by country with some being as early as the 6th December and others being as late as 13th-15th December; you can get in touch with us to find out the last posting date for your intended shipping destination BUT we strongly recommend ordering THIS WEEK to give your name labels plenty of time to arrive.

Delivery to the Republic Of Ireland: we despatch orders via Royal Mail’s International Standard service, which means the last posting date is Friday 15th December.

This service may be delayed so we recommend ordering as early as possible for pre-Christmas delivery.

Standard Delivery to the UK: Royal Mail’s First Class service has a last posting date of Wednesday 20th December.

This service may be delayed so we recommend ordering as early as possible for pre-Christmas delivery OR upgrading to a special delivery service.

Special Delivery to the UK: special delivery is via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed service, which has a last posting date of Thursday 21st December.

If you find yourself leaving things to the VERY last minute this year, we can despatch name labels on Friday 22nd December for delivery before Christmas, providing you upgrade to the Royal Mail’s Saturday Delivery Guaranteed service.

Remember, if you want to upgrade to one of our special delivery options at ANY time during December, you will need to call our Customer Service Team to do so – this allows us to make sure that your sticky name labels are made and despatched on the same day you order.

Last Minute Orders For Back to School Name Labels With Stikins ®

Friday, August 25th, 2017

Yes, the summer holidays are all but over! Within a few days children across the country will leave the nest to return to school. As any parent knows this can be a very stressful time. The good news is that if you’re still purchasing essentials, there’s still time to order a few last minute back to school name labels which help to safely and securely label all your children’s belonging, from uniform items and basic equipment, to other “essentials” that you’ve spent (what feels like) weeks choosing, trying on, arguing about, and (finally) buying!

Stikins Name Labels

We make ordering school name labels quick and easy!

No one wants to spend time ordering (and applying) school name labels BUT they’re a quick and easy way to make sure that your child doesn’t come home mere weeks (or days) into the new school year with a tragic story of how their brand new school uniform or equipment has mysteriously and inexplicably disappeared.

At Label Planet, we’ve tried to make the process of buying and applying your school name labels as simple as possible. We offer same day despatch dependant on orders being received by 3pm and once received, you can easily apply the labels in minutes – leaving you free to enjoy those precious last days of summer!

Our multipurpose labels are a brilliant way to label school uniform and equipment; these labels simply stick on and stay on – with absolutely NO sewing and NO ironing required. One pack of labels can be used to label clothing (where they should be applied onto the wash-care label), bags and shoes (where they should be applied onto the side wall or beneath the tongue), and personal items including lunch boxes and water bottles, books and stationery kits, and any other essential extras that your children insist on taking to school.

School Name Labels

So, whether you’ve already ordered school name labels (but they’ve disappeared or run out) or you haven’t made an order yet (because you forgot or you’ve been putting it off for “another day”), the team here at Stikins ® can help! Simply fill in our online order form, or contact us directly via telephone, email or post and we’ll do the rest of the work so that you can site back and make the most of what’s left of the summer!

FAQs – Ordering Stikins ® Name Labels From Label Planet

Friday, August 11th, 2017

Here at Label Planet, we designed our stick on name labels with busy families in mind, which means we’ve tried to make our products AND our services as useful and simple as possible – so you have more time (and money) to get on with the important things in life.

Stikins Name Labels

We understand that ordering name labels and labelling school uniform and equipment is never going to be the most fun task that parents have to deal with over the summer holidays BUT our name labels are an incredibly simple way to avoid the hassle of a child returning from school missing an all-important item (or one of those essential “extras” that they simply can’t do without). So, to avoid the tears and tantrums (and the subsequent lightening of your purse or wallet) that go hand in hand with lost property, here’s a quickfire FAQ break down to guide you through the process of ordering Stikins ® name labels from Label Planet.

HOW DO I ORDER NAME LABELS FROM LABEL PLANET?
You can order Stikins ® name labels online here, by phone, or by post by using our order form which you can download here. See below for further information.

  • Ordering Online:

To order online simply enter the text you want printed on your name labels and select a pack size (if you are ordering the Stikins ® Name Label Kit, leave the text fields blank). Add your pack of name labels to your basket and then choose whether you want to add another pack (“Enter More Names”) or to checkout. Fill in your delivery details and make payment by debit/credit card or by Paypal.

*Please double check the confirmation page and/or confirmation email to make sure that all of the details you have provided for your order are correct.*

  • Ordering by Phone:

Call us on 01270 668076; our Customer Service Team is available Monday to Friday (9am-5pm). Let us know what packs you would like to order (and the text you would like printed on each one), your delivery information, and make payment by debit card or credit card.

  • By Post

Fill in the order form on the back of our Parent Leaflet; we send out a leaflet with every order and you can download a digital copy from our website – leaflets are also handed out by schools who have joined our Fundraising Scheme. Let us know what packs you would like to order and the text you would like printed on each one, along with your delivery information. Post your order form to us along with a cheque for payment to Wilbraham House, Unit 2 Alvaston Business Park, Middlewich Road, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6PF.

WHAT TEXT SHOULD I PUT ON MY NAME LABELS?

It’s up to you to decide what you want printing on your name labels but we do have a few tips to help you decide:

  • Most customers request a first name (top line) and a surname (bottom line) OR a full name (top line) and a phone number (bottom line).
  • We recommend that you request no more than two pieces of information – you could choose a piece of contact information, a class/form/year name, a medical/allergy alert (e.g. Nut Allergy), or a friendly message (e.g. “Please Return To” // “This Belongs To”).
  • Our name labels are one size only and the font size will be reduced to allow your text to fit neatly within those dimensions (30mm wide by 15mm high), so you should try to keep things short and sweet. We recommend adding no more than 15-20 characters per line; while you can enter more characters than this, you will find that the font size is significantly smaller.
  • We can only print alphanumerical characters and basic punctuation marks; we cannot print images or emoji.
  • We cannot split packs between different names or text; every label within a particular pack is printed with the same text. You can, however, be a bit creative with the text you request so that you can share the labels (e.g. adding a surname only or including all of the names) OR you can opt for our Stikins ® Name Label Kit, which contains 60 blank labels and a pen so you can personalise each label as you wish.
  • If you want to leave one line blank, please use the space bar on your keyboard to add a single blank space to the text box for that line.

WHAT IS A SCHOOL FUNDRAISING NUMBER?
We run a Fundraising Scheme for schools and PTAs (and other groups), which allows them to raise money by earning commission on sales of name labels. They are assigned a unique fundraising number and any order we receive where that number is quoted will earn commission for the school, which they can then use for any ongoing projects or fundraising targets that they are working towards.

If your school has given you a fundraising number to quote, simply enter the number into the Fundraising Number box at the bottom of the product page (just above the “Add to basket” button), quote the number when you order by phone, or fill in the Fundraising Number box on the order form. If you forget to add your school’s fundraising number you can get in touch with us by phone or email and we can add the number to your order retroactively.

Please note that the Fundraising Number is NOT a discount code; quoting the number means that your order will help to raise money for your child’s school and does not apply a discount to your order when you checkout.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY LABELS TO ARRIVE?
We print name labels every day so any order we receive by 3pm will be printed and despatched same day – orders placed after 3pm, over the weekend, or on a bank holiday will be printed and despatched on the next working day.

All of our UK orders are despatched via Royal Mail’s first class service as standard; around 93% of these items are delivered on the next (working) day, with the rest taking a day or two extra depending on the service level in your area.

I NEED MY LABELS URGENTLY – CAN YOU HELP?
We know that it’s all too easy to forget to order name labels or to find that you’ve not ordered enough to get EVERYTHING labelled, which may mean that you end up needing your labels in a hurry. In addition to despatching orders same or next working day, we also offer a guaranteed next day delivery service; this guarantees that your order will be delivered next day by 1pm and costs £5.75. We must receive your order before 4pm so we have time to make and despatch your name labels same day and so you can only request this service by phone.

I’VE MADE A MISTAKE ON MY ORDER – WHAT SHOULD I DO?
When you complete an order online, you will be directed to a confirmation page showing the details of your order AND you will receive a copy of that page in a confirmation email (along with an email from Sagepay, our payment gateway provider, confirming that your payment has gone through successfully). We STRONGLY recommend that you read through the confirmation page or email to make sure that all of the details in your order are correct because, as we state on our product pages, “WE WILL PRINT EXACTLY WHAT YOU ENTER”.

If you find a mistake, simply get in touch with us as soon as possible to let us know – you can give us a call or simply send us an email with the corrections that you need making and we’ll get your order updated on your behalf.

Remember, our Customer Service Team is always on hand if you need any help or advice when it comes to ordering your own set(s) of Stikins ® name labels; simply give us a call or send us an email and we’ll be happy to help!
