FAQ – How Do I Order Stikins ® and Trons ® name labels online?

While some people find it simple to order things online, with so much variation in the world of online shopping we thought we’d put together a simple step by step guide to help our customers navigate our website to get the name labels that they want – exactly as they want them!

Step 1:
Go to our website!

Step 2:
Click “Buy Stikins ® Name Labels” for Stikins ® or click “Buy Trons ® Name Labels” for Trons ®.
[Don’t worry if you want to buy both – you start with one product and add the other one later.]

 Step 3:
Select the number of lines, text, colour (Stikins ® only), and pack size you want to order.

 For Stikins ® name labels:
– SELECT TEXT ON ONE LINE OR TWO LINES
[By default the option for “Name on two lines” will be selected and TWO text fields will be displayed. If you select the “Name on one line” option, only ONE text field will be displayed.]
– ENTER THE TEXT YOU WANT PRINTING
[We print EXACTLY what you enter so please type carefully! If you want one or both of the lines leaving blank, please use the space bar to enter a single space into the relevant text field(s).]
– SELECT WHITE STIKINS ® OR SILVER STIKINS ®
[Both are printed with a BLACK font. Our white and silver Stikins ® are made with exactly the same materials and cost the same – all you are selecting is the colour you prefer.]
– SELECT A PACK SIZE; you have the choice of 120, 90, 60, or 30 labels in a pack.
– ENTER A SCHOOL COMMISSION CODE – IF you have been provided one by a school, nursery, care home, or activity group.
[If you don’t have a code, don’t panic! Simply leave the field blank.]
– CLICK “Add to Basket”!

 For Trons ® name transfers:
– SELECT TEXT ON ONE LINE OR TWO LINES
[By default the option for “Name on two lines” will be selected and TWO text fields will be displayed. If you select the “Name on one line” option, only ONE text field will be displayed.]
– ENTER THE TEXT YOU WANT PRINTING
[We print EXACTLY what you enter so please type carefully! If you want one or both of the lines leaving blank, please use the space bar to enter a single space into the relevant text field(s).]
– SELECT A PACK SIZE; you have the choice of 140, 105, 70, or 35 labels in a pack.
– ENTER A SCHOOL COMMISSION CODE – IF you have been provided one by a school, nursery, care home, or activity group.
[If you don’t have a code, don’t panic! Simply leave the field blank.]
– CLICK “Add to Basket”!

 Step 4:
You have added one set of Stikins ® or Trons ® name labels to your basket!
You now have the option to:

– CHECKOUT AND PAY FOR YOUR ITEM – click “Checkout”.

– INCREASE THE QUANTITY OF THE PACK YOU HAVE ORDERED – change the “1” in the Quantity box to the number that you require and click “Update Totals”. Then proceed to the checkout to pay for your items – click “Checkout”.
[Please note that if you increase the quantity, you are simply ordering MORE of the SAME. For example, if you change your order from 1x N120 to 2x N120, you will receive 240 labels printed with the text you have already entered.]

– ADD ANOTHER ITEM OR ITEMS TO YOUR ORDER – click “Continue Shopping” and repeat Step 3.
[You will be taken to the order page for the same product type you have already added to your basket – i.e. if your first item was Stikins ® you will return to the Stikins ® product page, and if your first item was Trons ® you will return to the Trons ® product page. To change the product you are ordering, click on the relevant red button on the left hand side; “Buy Stikins ® Name Labels” or “Buy Trons ® Name Labels”].

– DELETE AN ITEM FROM YOUR BASKET – check the “Select” box next to the item and then click “Delete”. Click on “Continue Shopping” to add another item to your basket.

Step 5:
Enter your delivery information.

  • Select if your Billing Address is in the UK or outside of the UK.
  • Fill in your customer details including:
    • FULL NAME: please ensure you enter your full name into this field.
    • PHONE NUMBER: we will only use this number if we need to contact you about an issue with your order.
    • EMAIL: we use your email to send confirmation that your payment and order have been successfully placed and to notify you when your order has been despatched. We may also email you if there is any issue with your order.

From time to time, we will email customers with news of new products or offers/discounts that we are running. We will never give your details to third party companies, but if you do not wish to receive these emails, you can opt out further down on this page.

  • BILLING ADDRESS: please enter your BILLING ADDRESS.

For UK addresses, enter your postcode and then click on “Click Here To Look Up UK Address” and select your address from the list. If your address doesn’t appear, you can select on the closest address and then edit the information that is filled in to match your address.

For non-UK addresses, enter your full address details, along with the Country.

  • To send your order to a separate DELIVERY ADDRESS, check the box that says “If your shipping address is different from your billing address, please click here:”, and fill in the fields. UK addresses can be found using the “Click Here To Look Up UK Address” tool, while non UK addresses must be entered in full into the fields provided.
  • If you have any particular requirements or comments about your order, please type your message into the Additional Information box.
  • If you are happy to receive updates from us about new products or offers/discount codes, leave the “Allow Promotional Emails” box checked. If you prefer not to receive emails from us uncheck the box.
  • If we are running an offer and you have a discount code to hand, enter it in the Coupon or Discount Number box.
  • Click “Checkout” to proceed to the Payment Page.

Step 6:
Choose your payment method and fill out the fields to provide your payment details.
You can choose to pay by Paypal or by using a credit/debit card. Please note we do not accept American Express.

Step 7:
Double check that the Order Totals and Prices are correct, then click “Checkout” to complete your order.

 Step 8: You have placed your order!
We highly recommend that you take a moment to read through the “Thank You” page to double check that all of the information is correct. A copy will also be sent to you in a confirmation email. If anything is amiss, get in touch and we will get your order corrected. Otherwise, simply sit back and wait for your labels to arrive!

All orders are despatched via Royal Mail’s first class service. While we find that around 93% of this does arrive the next working day, it is not a guaranteed service and can take a few days extra.
